Reformation is not only more productive, more cost effective and more humane, but it also leads to generations of stronger communities protected from harm and benefiting from contributing members of society.
As members of our most vulnerable population, these kids should be a constant on the minds of every American citizen. Immediate reform and allotment of resources is absolutely necessary t to protect these children and their futures.
Lets raise the bar by giving more options for students and parents for government funded schooling outside of the traditional curriculum and have more authority and control resting with the teachers who are in the trenches daily.
In order to protect the lives of our citizens and the officers serving in our communities it is extremely important that we make sure that those on the frontline, shoulder to shoulder, are capable of doing so. I support more accountability, training and procedures in place to avoid unneccessary brutral force coming from either side.
If this wasn't an urgent concern before the start of 2020, it should be now with the pandemic threatening our communities. The majority of our homeless suffer from addictions or lack the ability to support themselves. Providing even minimal services to meet their basic human needs while allowing them to break the cycle on their own efforts while still benefiting from a compassionate and humane society. Some would like to think this population doesn't have an effect on them, however studies show rippling effects on communities.
Our communities often ban or restrict opportunities to preserve our land, for example-tiny homes are prohibited in most communities. Simplify the processes, incentivise companies to find alternative ways to produce, package and ship with as little impact as possible.
American's spend on average twice as much on healthcare as any other country. Firm caps on costs for services and medications, then also providing incentives for our medical students to receive some of their education in countries that are ahead of us in this area would allow us to focus on innovation instead of using all of our energy to stay afloat.
From birth we have basic human needs that must be met in order to survive. While some of us won the genetic lottery and were born in a civil land, others were born into poverty and war. Working to put processes and policy into place to allow others to live a life with the ability to meet their own basic needs while still maintaining the security and safety of our citizens is well within our reach.
It is the people's right to be part of the governing process. Any bill submitted should be required to have documentation on all involved and any outside interest or connection. Full disclosure on any monetary gain, personal benefit or restricts another group should be required. As well as easy access of bills written to private citizens.
